Grandparents’ Day 2015
Once again this year, during Catholic Schools Week, there was a great turn out for Grandparents Day at the school. After mass in the church, grandparents were invited back to the school for a cup of tea and a great selection of cakes, tarts and buns baked by the children. After tea and a chat many grandparents visited the classrooms to talk to the children and they were entertained with songs and dance.
In 6th class the children were demonstrating their weaving and some of the grannies and grandads tried weaving too.
Well done to all the children who contributed to making it such a memorable day.
Pictures of some of the lovely weavings that were made by 6th class.
