Design and make a pig!

Over the past four weeks, second and third class undertook an art project where each child designed and made their own pig. They used a range of recycled materials, such as newspapers and egg cartons, aswell as balloons and paint. The first stage involved constructing the pigs using these materials. They then used papier maché techniques to cover the pigs and create a surface that they could decorate. The final stage was the decoration of the pigs using paints. The children then brought their pigs out to the astroturf to explore the outdoor environment!
