SPAR FAI Primary 5s
On March 25th, boys and girls from 5th and 6th class took part in the SPAR FAI Primary 5s soccer tournament at Gorey Showgrounds.
All the teams played really well against some tough competition.
The girls team made it through to the final after winning all of their group matches and scoring 24 goals along the way. They were very unlucky to lose out in the final.
The boys teams also did great. Team B Boys played great football and made it through to the final, which ended scoreless and so it went to penalties. The boys scored some great penalties only to lose on sudden death. Team A Boys were unlucky not to progress to the semi finals on goal difference.
