Swimming Gala 2014

On Thursday May 22nd, a large number of students from 1st to 6th class travelled to The Waterfront pool in Enniscorthy to take part in the annual School’s Swimming Gala. There were some really exciting races to be seen on the day and our school came home with a very impressive haul of 13 medals. Everyone who took part had a very enjoyable day and we extend huge congratulations to our medal winners who were as follows:

Individual

Ben Murphy (6th class)   3rd in 25m backstroke

Ríoghna Hourihane (5th class) 1st in 25m breaststroke and 2nd in 25m backstroke

Jack Twomey (4th class) 1st in 25m front crawl

DJ Donnelly (2nd class)  2nd in 25m front crawl

Relays

Third and fourth class team: 1st,

Fifth class team: 2nd
