Bread – where does it come from?

Senior Infants and First Class have been busy learning about where bread comes from. We know the wheat has to be planted first then the wheat is cut with a combine harvester. The wheat then goes to the mill where it is turned into flour which is used to bake the bread that we like to eat.

We tested out the baking and eating by making our own brown bread in class. Have a look at the bakers below.
