Grandparents Day

We had a lovely celebration of Grandparents’ Day on Thursday February 1st (Lá Fhéile Bríde). It started with Mass in St. Mary’s Church, followed by light refreshments and visitation of classrooms in our school.The children entertained our visitors with stories, poems, songs and music and indeed enjoyed listening to their grandparents’stories of their own schooldays. Many thanks to everyone who helped to make it such a special morning.
