LEGO® Education in 6th class

In 6th class last week our science lesson revolved around LEGO®. The hands-on (and minds-on) challenge was to use the LEGO® Education kits to build a catapult using a basic design and then adjust the design in an effort to propel the load the furthest distance.
Lots of discussion (noise!) and fun in class. And many different designs of catapult.

We took the catapults outside, each team launched a cube from their catapult and the distance it travelled was marked out with chalk.

Winners on the day. Well done girls.
