Heartiest congratulations to Mary Nolan Hickey who stopped with us on Thursday to say hello before continuing on her run around Ireland’s coastline to raise funds for the RNLI.
Congratulations to all the winners in the recent Art Competition run in conjunction with the 60th Kilmuckridge Drama Festival.
We are holding an Open Evening this evening from 7pm-8pm. Come along to see some of what we do here at St. Joseph’s.
We had a lovely celebration of Grandparents’ Day on Thursday February 1st (Lá Fhéile Bríde). It started with Mass in St. Mary’s Church, followed by light refreshments and visitation of classrooms in our school.The children entertained our visitors with stories, poems, songs and music and indeed enjoyed listening to their grandparents’stories of their own schooldays. There were lots of very different looking pupils (and staff!) in our school today. Great fun was had by all.
