Scratch Programming

Last term both 5th and 6th class began learning about Scratch Programming in class. They learned the basics of Scratch and how to programme some simple actions.  The children were then given the opportunity to work on their own projects, either independently or in small groups. They gradually expanded their knowledge of Scratch programming and began to develop some excellent projects!

Each year the Irish Computer Society run a Scratch competition giving children the opportunity to demonstrate their Scratch Programming skills through the various games and projects that they have developed. We have entered four projects into the competition this year and we wish them the best of luck! Check out these great projects using the links below.
