Swimming Gala, Enniscorthy – Thursday, May 21st

After the excitement of the previous day’s athletics at Bree, it was the turn of the swimmers on Thursday, May 21st. Swimmers from all around the Enniscorthy district turned up for the annual primary schools’ swimming gala at the Waterfront pool in Templeshannon. Contestants across the age range from first class to sixth class took part.

The boys and girls from St Josephs did the school proud and won lots of medals.
U12 Relay – Gold
U12 50m freestyle – Bronze
5th & 6th class 25m freestyle and breast stroke – Gold
5th & 6th class 25m front crawl and breast stroke – Gold and silver
5th & 6th class (club) 50m front crawl – Silver
5th class relay – Gold
6th class relay – Silver
2nd class 10m front crawl – Gold, silver and bronze
2nd class 25m front crawl – Bronze
